The Lower Egos - Trapped in the First Three Centers

Red, Orange, Yellow egos keep consciousness external and the brain in survival mode, not interdimensional vehicle.

"When one is of the lower egos the brain remains for the most part in potential, not yet activated, for the brain typically is being used for egoic reasons to do with the lower egos of survival, interpersonal relationships, and the feeling of being in control of one's ability to survive."

The Three Prisons

Most spiritual teachings talk about "transcending the ego" as if ego were a single thing to overcome. J reveals something more precise and more useful: you don't have one ego. You have (at minimum) seven different egos corresponding to the seven energy centers.

And the first three - Red, Orange, and Yellow - function as prisons that keep most of humanity locked in external, material, survival-focused consciousness.

Understanding these three egos isn't about judgment. It's about recognizing where you're operating from. Because until you understand the prison, you can't find the exit.

Red Ego: The Victim

"Thinking in a survival way would be that of the primary ego (Red Ray)," J teaches.

The Red ego is pure survival consciousness. At this level, you experience yourself as completely victimized by circumstances. Life happens TO you. You have no power, no control, no agency. You're just trying to stay alive, to get by, to survive another day.

"Red is survival, the Red is your relationship with the complete and utter victim-ness to your complete lack of power, for you are a survivor at the Red."

Notice that phrasing: survivor. Not thriver. Not creator. Survivor. Someone who endures, who gets through, who manages to not die despite overwhelming odds.

When you're operating from Red ego, every thought is about survival:

This isn't wrong. Survival matters. But when survival thinking dominates your consciousness, you can't access higher capacities. Your brain literally stays locked in survival mode, unable to activate its interdimensional potential.

The Red ego sees life as threatening, resources as scarce, and yourself as powerless. You're a victim to forces beyond your control.

Orange Ego: The Dependent

"The secondary ego (Orange Ray) would be the relationship one has with other entities in a sense of needing security from them and these kinds of thoughts."

As consciousness evolves beyond pure survival, you reach Orange ego. Here you recognize that survival isn't all there is to life. You become aware of relationships, of connection, of getting needs met through others.

But you're still operating from need, from dependency, from seeking security externally.

"Orange is personal relationships, the Orange is your relationship with the gaining of said power, at the Orange you are beginning to recognise that survival is important but not all there is to life."

The Orange ego seeks power, but tries to get it through others rather than developing it internally. You look for:

J describes this as "seeking the ego of the Solar Plexus (Yellow), whereby one seeks to transcend in their interpersonal relationships from a position of victim, to a position of power and control."

You're trying to escape victimhood (Red), but your method is external dependency (Orange). You're attempting to gain power through what others think of you, what they give you, how they make you feel.

The Orange ego is trapped in chemical romance, biological drives, the slow processes of interpersonal manipulation and dependency. You're not a pure victim anymore, but you're not truly empowered either.

Yellow Ego: The Controller

"Then finally those more higher egoic thoughts (Yellow Ray) that pertain to having great power or being one who is in a position of authority, in total control."

When you transcend dependency on others, you reach Yellow ego - the ego of personal power and control.

"Yellow is the relationship you have to power, that ability to feel powerful. At the Yellow you are that which controls, and in complete control of self's survival, one who feels transcendent of the same, one who feels all powerful, one who commands nature as you would understand."

This is a significant upgrade from Red and Orange. You're no longer a helpless victim. You're no longer dependent on others for security. You've developed genuine personal power, the ability to control your circumstances, to make things happen through mental force and will.

But you're still trapped. Still external. Still focused on ego rather than transcendence.

The Yellow ego believes:

J notes that "money activates the Solar Plexus to a brilliant level." When you have financial resources, job security, the ability to make things happen - your Yellow ego feels powerful, in control, transcendent of survival concerns.

But this is still ego. Still separation. Still the illusion that YOU (as separate self) are the one with power rather than recognizing yourself as an expression of infinite power.

The Natural Elevation

"These are various increasing qualities of thought as you would understand, the Orange in particular being an interesting exploration for one finds that at this level of ego, one is seeking the ego of the Solar Plexus (Yellow), whereby one seeks to transcend in their interpersonal relationships from a position of victim, to a position of power and control. This is the natural elevation of these egos as you would understand."

The movement is natural: from victim (Red) to dependent (Orange) to controller (Yellow). Each represents evolution, growth, increasing capacity.

Most people move through these levels over the course of their lives:

This progression is normal, necessary even. You can't skip these stages. A child who hasn't developed through Red and Orange won't have a stable foundation. An adult who never achieves Yellow will struggle with basic life competence.

But here's the critical point: these first three centers are not the destination.

The External Prison

"We find that when one is of the lower egos the brain remains for the most part in potential, not yet activated for the brain typically is being used for egoic reasons to do with the lower egos of survival, interpersonal relationships, and the feeling of being in control of one's ability to survive."

When your consciousness is locked in the first three centers, your brain operates at a fraction of its capacity. Not because you lack intelligence, but because all that intelligence is being directed toward external concerns.

Survival. Relationships. Control.

These are external focuses. They require you to use your "muscular body" and "very external thoughts." You're constantly responding to environment, managing circumstances, controlling outcomes, maintaining security.

"You would find that those Chakras or those egos as you would understand, that have to do with those first three levels of consciousness to do with control, interpersonal relationships and survival, all have a deteriorating effect on one's ability to take the brain and put it into its true form."

Your brain's true form isn't external. It's internal. The brain is designed as an "interdimensional vehicle" - a Merkabah that allows consciousness to explore infinite dimensions.

But when locked in lower egos, the brain never activates this capacity. It remains "potential" - capable but not actualized.

The Piano Scale of Egos

J uses a beautiful metaphor: "The first primary ego (Red) would be an ego pertaining to what you would understand as survival, then the egos go up like a piano scale into the 4th ego (Green) pertaining to that of the heart, which has its issues, its impurities or rather its shortcomings."

Egos ascend like notes on a piano. Each higher than the last. Each a different frequency.

Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Indigo.

"Then to the 5th (Blue), the 6th (Indigo), these are two degrees of ego yet the 6th being so close now to the One Infinite Creator that it is relatively egoless."

Even the higher centers have ego - just more refined versions. But by the time you reach the Sixth center (Third Eye), you're so close to Source that ego becomes nearly transparent.

"Then at the gateway being the 6th energy centre, one transcends into cosmic consciousness, a moment in which the amount of light funnelling into the Chakra will reach critical mass and one will 'pop' into a different body that can actually handle the light and experience something that can never be put into words."

The Sixth center is the gateway. Cross it, and you don't just activate another ego - you transcend into cosmic consciousness entirely. You literally shift into a different energetic body capable of handling frequencies impossible in normal human consciousness.

But you can't get there while trapped in the lower three.

Life as Body vs. Life as Brain

"Indeed life is truly, in its early stages of the first three Chakras including the 4th to a degree, an experience of the body. But at a certain experience the brain as you would understand becomes your vehicle, becomes your method of exploration, the brain in itself becomes your metaphysical Merkabah vehicle, by which you explore consciousness with an unimaginable amount of freedom."

This is the shift J is pointing to.

In the first three centers, life is experienced through the body. Physical survival. Biological needs. Material control. Your muscular vehicle moving through external reality, managing circumstances.

But when you transcend into the higher centers - starting at the Heart (4th) and especially at Throat (5th) and Third Eye (6th) - the brain activates as your primary vehicle.

Not the physical brain necessarily. The brain as consciousness technology. The brain as interdimensional exploration device. The brain as Merkabah.

"To activate the internal vehicle requires an internal journey into the internal self."

You can't activate this while focused externally. While trapped in survival concerns, relationship dependencies, or the need for control.

The shift requires going inward. Focusing internally rather than externally. Discovering that the real journey isn't out there managing circumstances - it's in here, exploring consciousness itself.

The Work of Transcendence

So how do you transcend the lower egos?

Not by suppressing them. Not by pretending you don't have survival needs, relationship desires, or power drives. The lower egos are natural, necessary stages of development.

But you transcend them by:

Recognizing where you're operating from: When you're in survival fear (Red), know it. When you're seeking validation through relationships (Orange), see it. When you're trying to control everything (Yellow), acknowledge it.

Meeting legitimate needs: You can't transcend survival consciousness if you're actually starving. Get your basic needs met. Develop real competence and power (Yellow). Create genuine security.

Then letting go of identification: The difference between being at Yellow and being trapped in Yellow is identification. You can have power and control without believing that's who you are.

Opening the Heart: This is the gateway J emphasizes. When the Heart activates, everything changes. You're no longer seeking power externally (Orange/Yellow). You're connected to infinite power internally (Green).

Shifting from external to internal focus: Stop believing the answers are out there. Stop trying to manage circumstances to feel safe. Start the inward journey. Activate the brain as your exploration vehicle rather than just using it to control external reality.

The Higher Egos

J is clear that even the higher centers have ego - just increasingly refined versions.

The Green ego (Heart) "has its issues, its impurities or rather its shortcomings." It's transcendent of the lower three, but it's not perfect. You can have spiritual ego, compassion ego, savior complex.

The Blue ego (Throat) and Indigo ego (Third Eye) are "two degrees of ego" but much closer to egoless-ness. At the Sixth center, you're so close to the One Infinite Creator that ego becomes nearly transparent.

The path isn't about destroying ego. It's about refining it, elevating it, making it more subtle and transparent until it finally dissolves at the gateway to cosmic consciousness.

The Brain Activation

Here's what makes this understanding so powerful:

"When you surpass these experiences through the Heart Chakra serving somewhat as a gateway and enter into 5th, 6th and 7th density experiences which also include the 4th density of the Heart Chakra, these four Chakras, or as we would prefer to say three, being the Heart, Throat and Brow, serve as to activate the interdimensional vehicle you would understand as your brain."

The first three centers (Red, Orange, Yellow) keep the brain locked in survival/control mode.

The upper four centers (Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet) activate the brain's interdimensional capacity.

Your brain literally has two modes: External mode - managing survival, relationships, control through muscular action and external thought Internal mode - exploring consciousness, dimensions, infinite possibilities through the brain as Merkabah vehicle

Most people never switch modes. They live their entire lives in external mode, using a fraction of the brain's actual capacity, never discovering that consciousness itself is the real frontier.

The Work Requirement

J is blunt about what activating the higher centers requires:

"This particular Chakra in its rotational activity would require that an entity undergoes a stupid amount of spiritual development, might we say respectfully."

How much? Like an Olympic athlete. "Tens of thousands of hours" focused internally rather than externally. Not physical training - consciousness training. Meditation. Spiritual discipline. Internal exploration.

This isn't casual weekend practice. This is dedication of life.

But the result? "A kind of cosmic consciousness. It is a very rare ray to have active upon your plane."

Rare because the work is immense. Rare because most people stay trapped in the lower egos, never making the shift from external to internal, never activating the brain's true capacity.

Where Are You Operating From?

The question isn't whether you have lower egos. Everyone does. The question is: which center are you primarily operating from?

Are you trapped in survival fear (Red), constantly worried about basic security?

Are you seeking validation and power through relationships (Orange), dependent on others for your sense of worth?

Are you trying to control everything through mental force (Yellow), believing your power comes from managing circumstances?

Or have you begun the shift to the Heart (Green), discovering that real power is internal, infinite, and has nothing to do with control?

The lower egos aren't enemies. They're stages. Natural, necessary stages of consciousness development.

But they're not the destination.

They're the piano's lower notes. Beautiful in their own right. Essential to the full musical scale. But incomplete without the higher notes that create the full range of possibility.

The first three centers give you survival, connection, and power in the external world.

The upper centers give you access to infinite dimensions, cosmic consciousness, and the brain as interdimensional exploration vehicle.

Both matter. But only one activates your true potential.

The question is: are you ready to shift from external to internal? From managing circumstances to exploring consciousness? From lower ego to higher ego to eventually, cosmic consciousness beyond all ego?

Your brain is waiting. In potential. Ready to activate as your Merkabah vehicle.

But it won't happen while you're trapped in survival, dependency, and control.

The journey from lower to higher egos isn't about transcending the body. It's about discovering that life can be experienced through the brain as interdimensional vehicle rather than just through the muscular body as survival mechanism.

The lower egos got you here. They built the foundation. They developed necessary capacities.

But now? It's time for the internal journey. Time to activate what's been waiting in potential all along.

Time to discover that the brain isn't just for managing external reality. It's for exploring infinite consciousness itself.
