The Root Chakra valve is locked by design. Dedication to love unlocks it, allowing kundalini to rise naturally through each center.
"The Root Chakra is much like a valve, it is usually locked, so most people upon the plane are locked in this centre."
The Locked Valve
Here's something most spiritual teachings don't tell you clearly: your Root Chakra is designed to be locked.
Not broken. Not damaged. Locked. By design.
"The Root Chakra serves as a valve to stop the kundalini moving any higher," J explains. "Then there is only a very small amount of that kundalini force, miniscule even, that moves through and up the body to the temple and then to the Higher-Self."
Think about why you'd design a system with a locked valve at the bottom. To create pressure. To prevent energy from simply flowing through uncontrolled. To ensure that opening happens intentionally, consciously, when the system is ready.
Most people live their entire lives with this valve locked. A tiny trickle of kundalini makes it through - just enough to maintain basic consciousness, basic function, basic life. But the vast reservoir of creative force remains contained below, unable to rise.
This isn't failure. This is starting condition.
The spiritual path, in large part, is about learning what unlocks this valve. Not forcing it. Not breaking it. Learning the key that opens it naturally, safely, in alignment with your system's capacity.
The Sexual Trap
Why is the valve locked? Because of where it's located.
The Root Chakra governs survival and sexuality. The creative force - the kundalini - enters your system here first. And here it meets the sexual chemical mind with all its powerful drives, preferences, and impulses.
"When the creative force in its rawest form enters into the physiology it firstly has contact with the excitement protocols of being alive, and it then has contact with a system known as the sexual system itself," J teaches.
Here you face a fundamental choice: direct this creative force toward sexual expression, or channel it upward toward spiritual development.
"If you direct it to the sexual force itself or the sexual system inside of you then your evolution will not be able to reach to the higher levels because the creative force is stuck in this particular area."
This isn't about sexual suppression or shame. This is about understanding energetic mechanics. The creative force has incredible power. When it discharges through sexual expression, that power is released outward, downward, into physical density.
When it's redirected upward, that same power becomes fuel for consciousness expansion, energetic development, spiritual capacities.
"If this valve were to have all of a sudden opened, then people would not be so eager to move about the fields looking for a spouse to engage in those promiscuous activities."
The locked valve creates sexual hunger. The creative force pounds at the gate, demanding expression. When you don't understand the system, you respond by seeking sexual release. This provides temporary satisfaction but ensures the valve stays locked, the creative force continues being discharged outward, and spiritual development remains limited.
The Key to Unlocking
So what unlocks the valve?
"There must be the revelation that there is no movement beyond your sexual impulses unless there is the dedication of the life to love, to the Christos itself, here then the valve can be unlocked and the energy freed."
Notice that word: dedication. Not casual interest. Not weekend spiritual practice. Dedication of your life.
To what? To love. To the Christos. To living love as your primary orientation rather than sexuality as your primary creative outlet.
When someone truly dedicates themselves - when their soul recognizes "there is only one way to live" - the valve begins to unlock. Slowly. Like a "slow burning candle" as J describes it.
"The more connected one is to Cosmos, to Love, to Christ as it were. The more connected one is to this force, kundalini will start to move up the body in greater amounts, causing one to enter into greater states of being, of presence."
This isn't about celibacy necessarily (though that's one approach). It's about where your primary allegiance lies. What drives you. What you're dedicated to.
When sexual expression is your god, the valve stays locked.
When living love is your orientation, the valve begins to open.
The Sacral: Victim to Your Chemical Romance
As the creative force begins its journey upward from the locked Root valve, it first encounters the Sacral Chakra - what J calls the Orange Ray or 2nd energy center.
This is where things get complicated fast.
"In the 2nd density you are but a victim to your chemical romance, your chemical experience," J teaches.
The Sacral governs your chemical body, your biological processes, your relationship with others at the level of dependency and need. This is the realm of interpersonal relationships - not the heart's selfless love, but the ego's need for security from others.
J describes this as "the secondary ego" - where you're seeking to transcend from pure victimhood (Red/Root) to gaining some power and control through relationships: "At the Orange you are beginning to recognise that survival is important but not all there is to life."
The Finite Capacity of Connection
Here's something fascinating J reveals about the Sacral: it has finite capacity.
"The Sacral Chakra may only have a finite number of connections we believe, choosing who one entangles their sacral energies with is a most sacred choice indeed."
This chakra stores "deep parental/platonic programming" from childhood. The words "Mummy," "Daddy," "Brother," "Sister" carry immense power, especially when you're young. When these caretakers act in harmful ways, traumatic memories get encoded directly into the Sacral's energetic structure.
Imagine the Sacral as "rapidly vibrating/vortexing strings of maternal/paternal/platonic love." Each significant relationship in your life is a string, an energetic connection stored in this center. When someone causes trauma or acts in disservice, that string carries the pain.
The problem? You only have so many strings. So many connection points. If your Sacral is full of toxic connections from the past, there's no room for healthy new relationships.
Cutting the Strings
J offers a powerful practice: consciously cutting the energetic ties to people who have been of disservice in your life.
"Imagine next, cutting the strings of entities who have been of disservice in your life. In doing so, one frees the finite capacity of the Sacral Chakra for new ties/relationships, take note of how new entities tend to come into the life when ties are cut successfully."
This isn't about hate or anger. It's about energetic hygiene. You're releasing connections that drain your vital force, freeing up capacity for relationships that actually serve your growth.
J notes this is especially useful "if the subtle work of forgiveness is not yet complete, forgiveness is difficult, if not sometimes, nigh-impossible. Cutting-ties can be a method of alleviating the need to forgive, such that ones vital energies can return and be utilised for something more constructive in the life."
You don't have to forgive everyone who hurt you. You can simply cut the energetic cord, reclaim your energy, and move forward.
The Chemical Slowness
The Orange Ray operates at the level of chemistry - slow, biological, tied directly to physical processes.
"The Orange Ray was slow and directly tied to what you understand as your chemical system which reorganises itself in a slow fashion. This is most visible in when one may get a graze, or a cut, and you watch the chemical process heal slowly."
While the Solar Plexus above it works with faster mental energies, the Sacral is locked into the slower rhythms of biological processes. Cell regeneration. Wound healing. Hormonal cycles. The gradual chemical dance of physical life.
This is 2nd density consciousness - where mind is beginning to organize atoms intelligently (like plants and micro-organisms), but still bound closely to matter, still operating at chemical speeds rather than thought speeds.
Dependence and Security
"The activations of that Orange centre would come into its greatest brilliance when one is first beginning to experience that experience of having something to rely on, to some degree or level, that can help its survival. It creates an experience of dependence."
The Sacral activates intensely when you find security through relationship - whether that's a romantic partner you depend on, parents who provide stability, friends who offer support, or even jobs and money that give you something to rely on for survival.
This isn't necessarily negative. It's a natural stage of development. But J is clear: you can get stuck here, perpetually seeking security through external relationships rather than developing internal power.
The Orange ego is "your relationship with the gaining of said power" - you're recognizing you want to transcend victimhood, but you're trying to do it through others rather than through your own development.
The Transition Point
The Sacral is transitional. Between pure survival (Root) and personal power (Solar Plexus). Between being a victim to circumstances and taking control of your life.
When kundalini energy gets stuck in the Sacral, you experience:
When energy begins moving through the Sacral cleanly, you experience:
The Solar Plexus: The Sun Bearer
As kundalini rises beyond the Sacral's chemical slowness, it encounters the Solar Plexus - and here the energy shifts dramatically.
"The Solar Plexus would seek to feed the subtle body that you would be familiar with, this Solar Plexus governs many operations but let it be really clear here, the Solar Plexus seeks to be identified with only one thing, God, and upon this the Solar Plexus will open."
The Solar Plexus is programmed to open when you achieve "full conviction and faith in God and Gods existence."
This is the Chakra of curiosity, of seeking, of mental clarity. It governs your thought quality, your mental body, the coherence of your Chi energy.
When your Solar Plexus opens, your thoughts become laser-like. Your mental energy becomes refined. Yellow intensifies into Green as your vibrational frequency increases.
But it won't open without conviction. Without genuine faith. Not blind belief, but experiential knowing that the divine is real, present, and central to existence.
The Heart: Where Everything Changes
When Solar Plexus energy intensifies sufficiently, you reach the Heart Chakra. And here, everything shifts.
"The energy of Green Ray is so detached from the physical complex that the physical complexes biases become healed due to how selfless the energy is."
The Heart operates at a frequency completely different from the lower Chakras. It's "detached from the physical complex" - meaning it's not bound by survival concerns, sexual drives, or ego needs.
When the Heart activates, you experience:
Brain joy - not bodily pleasure, but joy in consciousness itself, bliss in simply being aware.
Compassion - the capacity to radiate selfless love outward, to give without depletion, to connect without attachment.
Forgiveness - automatic, natural, because at this frequency you perceive everyone as the One expressing through different forms.
Unity consciousness - the recognition that there is no meaningful separation between self and other.
But here's what's crucial: Heart activation requires something specific.
"The compassion being internalised produces that kind of brain joy... an entity has become able to internalise the Green Ray centre, something that many entities on this planet are yet able to achieve."
You have to learn to direct the compassionate energy inward. To love yourself with the same selfless quality you might offer others. To recognize that you ARE the omnipresent force, not separate from it.
When you can do this - when you can be compassionate to yourself as an expression of the infinite rather than as a needy separate self - the Heart activates fully. And brain joy becomes your baseline.
Throat: Organization and Expression
With the Heart open, energy rises to the Throat.
The Throat Chakra "is able to organise the creative force," creating "a particular experience of interconnectedness that is strengthened by this particular Chakra in its ability to organise."
This is where you learn to consciously structure energy. To give coherent form to the creative force flowing through you. To express truth, to communicate clearly, to organize reality through focused intention.
The Throat takes the selfless love of the Heart and gives it direction, purpose, form. Love without organization dissipates. Organization without love becomes rigid control. Together, they create conscious creation.
Third Eye: Blissful Awareness
Rising further, energy activates the Third Eye.
"The 3rd eye is a functioning system to make the experience of having the ability to contemplate, think and/or be in the present moment very, very enjoyable."
This isn't bodily enjoyment (that's the Heart). This is mental bliss. The joy of consciousness itself. The pleasure of being aware, of perceiving, of knowing.
At this level, thought itself becomes blissful. Meditation isn't work - it's the most enjoyable activity possible because you're experiencing the joy of pure awareness without content.
Crown: Infinite Energy
Finally, at the Crown:
"At the highest Chakra of the soul infinite energy can spurn from within this Chakra."
You're no longer just processing energy from below or receiving it from environment. You're connected directly to Source. Infinite energy can flow from this connection into your entire system.
This is why masters don't seem to get depleted. They're not running on finite reserves. They're tapped into infinity itself, drawing unlimited energy through the Crown, allowing it to flow down through all the other Chakras.
The Jumping Pattern
J describes something fascinating: "When the heart activates the corresponding Chakra finds itself activating like jumping a voltage or hoping up a ladder, the closer you are to a Chakra up the ladder, the easier that Chakra finds in its activating experience."
Chakras don't activate in strict linear progression. When you activate one, it makes the next one easier. When you activate the Heart, for instance, it helps activate Throat and Third Eye because you're "closer" energetically.
This is why J emphasizes starting with the Heart. It's not the bottom of the ladder, so you don't have to methodically work through Root and Solar Plexus first. You can jump to Heart, and from there, the higher Chakras become more accessible.
The Natural Unfolding
Here's something crucial that J emphasizes: "It is actually a steady process of life experience that causes these centres to open themselves. Meditation has an effect on this yes, but it is a rather natural experience whereby everything comes together to create a satori."
You can't force Chakras open. You can't just visualize them spinning and expect transformation. The opening happens through life experience, through lessons learned, through consciousness genuinely shifting.
Meditation supports this. Creates conditions for it. Accelerates it. But it doesn't replace the actual life experience required for genuine opening.
Someone who truly dedicates their life to love doesn't need complex Chakra techniques. The dedication itself unlocks the valve. The sincerity activates the centers. The living creates the opening.
The Warning About Speed
J cautions against trying to rush up the ladder too fast:
"Many become obsessed with moving their energy into the region of the 3rd eye. Discipline must always be coincided with compassion. Discipline is one's ability to access those infinite dimensions; compassion is one's ability to recognise that accessing dimensions of infinity is not always a good idea!"
You can develop discipline - the ability to direct energy, to activate Chakras, to access higher states. But without compassion - without wisdom about your actual readiness, without self-honesty about your limitations - you can create serious problems.
Opening the Third Eye without a solid Heart foundation creates spiritual bypassing, ego inflation, or worse. Trying to force kundalini upward without proper preparation can damage the nervous system.
This is why J always recommends: "If you're going to do any practice of motioning energy dearest one, start with your heart."
The Practical Path
The journey from Root to Crown isn't about techniques or visualizations. It's about:
Dedication to love - this unlocks the Root valve naturally
Releasing dependence on others - this clears the Sacral and reclaims vital force
Conviction in the divine - this opens the Solar Plexus
Internalized compassion - this activates the Heart
Conscious organization - this engages the Throat
Joy in awareness - this lights the Third Eye
Connection to Source - this opens the Crown
Each step supports the next. Each opening makes the subsequent one more natural. Each activation changes your baseline frequency.
You don't have to force it. You don't have to follow complex techniques. You have to genuinely live the principles that each Chakra responds to.
Dedicate your life to love. Develop real conviction through practice. Learn to love yourself as the infinite. Organize your energy consciously. Find joy in simple awareness. Maintain connection to Source.
Do this sincerely, and the Chakras open naturally. The valve unlocks. The kundalini rises. The creative force that was locked in sexuality transforms into spiritual capacity.
Root to Crown isn't a technique. It's a life path. It's what happens when you choose love over lust, conviction over doubt, selflessness over ego, organization over chaos, awareness over distraction, infinity over limitation.
The path is clear. The journey is natural. The question is just: are you dedicated?
