Not a minor misunderstanding. Not a semantic quibble. The BIGGEST false belief currently operating in human consciousness.
People genuinely believe they ARE parents. That they CREATE their children (we've already seen that's false - Christos builds bodies). That they OWN their children's lives. That they're ultimately responsible for every outcome.
And this belief creates immeasurable suffering.
Parents wracked with guilt when children struggle. Parents living in constant anxiety about future outcomes they can't control. Parents losing themselves completely in the identity of "mother" or "father" as if that's who they fundamentally ARE.
Children crushed under parental expectations. Children believing they owe their existence to these humans. Children carrying guilt for not living up to plans they never agreed to.
All because of one false belief: that humans parent children.
