The true nature of the photon — not as a particle of light but as a cell of infinity itself, born when Love first interacted with itself.
Science describes a photon as the fundamental particle of light and electromagnetic radiation — massless, travelling at 299,792,458 metres per second, the fastest thing in the universe. It is the quantum of light. The thing that carries energy from the sun to your skin, from a screen to your eyes, from a star that died a million years ago to the retina of an astronomer peering through a telescope tonight.
This description is accurate as far as it goes., yet J's description goes considerably further.
"The photon is a unit of infinity, a cell of infinity. The photon is that birth giver of creation — the photon, if you took a unit of it, would be but a cell of infinity itself."
A cell of infinity. Not a particle of energy, not a quantum of electromagnetic radiation. A unit of the infinite itself — the point at which the unmanifest first becomes something that can be called creation. Understanding this changes not just how you think about light but how you understand consciousness, the Chakras, the nature of time, and the purpose of spiritual development.
Before the Photon: Infinity Pours Itself into Love
To understand what a photon is in J's framework, you have to begin before it exists. Before the photon there is what J calls pure tone — the undifferentiated, unmanifest nature of the One Infinite Creator. Not energy, not light, not force, something prior to all of these.
But pure tone does not become the photon directly. Something happens in between, something that changes everything about what the photon actually is and what it carries.
"Infinity concentrated as love, expressed as light."
