The Body as Instrument - Consciousness Plays the Music

You're not your body - you're the player. The body is your instrument with its own intelligence, requiring skill and practice to play well.

"The realm you live in dearest one is an instrument playing; consciousness is the player, the instrument is God as you would understand. When you learn how to pluck the strings of the Father you have grasped the physics of your realm."

You Are Not Your Body

This is one of the most fundamental spiritual teachings across traditions, yet it's often misunderstood. You are not your body - but not because the body is somehow less important or needs to be transcended. You are not your body because you are the player and the body is the instrument.

A violinist is not the violin. But a master violinist knows their instrument intimately. They understand its resonances, its sweet spots, how to coax beautiful sounds from it. They maintain it carefully because they know: a poorly maintained instrument produces poor music, no matter how skilled the player.

Your body is your instrument. Consciousness - your true nature - is the player. And the music you create through this instrument is your lived experience, your contribution to reality, your unique expression of the infinite.

The question isn't whether you're playing. You're playing right now, with every thought, every emotion, every action. The question is: are you playing consciously? Do you know your instrument? Are you creating the music you intend, or just random noise?

The Instrument Has Its Own Mind

Here's where J's teaching becomes fascinating and different from many spiritual frameworks that ignore or diminish the body's role.

The physical vehicle, according to J, "has a mind of its own, it has its own processing units, these processing units, these nuclei within the physical vehicle run as various energies, you are familiar with the most common one being hunger."

Your body thinks. Not in the way your conscious mind thinks, but it has intelligence, processing, its own form of awareness. It has preferences, biases, patterns that were encoded before you even incarnated into it.

The sexual chemical mind has preferences for certain types of partners. The hunger mind has preferences for certain foods. Various processing centers throughout your vehicle operate semi-autonomously, running programs, generating impulses, creating experiences.

This is why you can't simply override the body with willpower. The body isn't just following orders. It's a conscious entity in its own right, with its own intelligence, its own nature, its own responses to environment.

The relationship between you (consciousness) and your body (the instrument) is more like partnership than ownership. You're not dominating a slave. You're learning to work with a highly sophisticated system that has its own wisdom.

Learning the Instrument

When you first pick up a violin, you don't immediately create beautiful music. You create squeaks, scratches, discordant sounds. The violin isn't broken - you just don't know how to play it yet.

The same is true for your body.

Most people go through life never learning their instrument. They react to its impulses without understanding where they come from. They fight against its nature instead of working with it. They damage it through ignorance and wonder why it doesn't perform well.

J teaches that meditation is essentially practicing your instrument. When you close your eyes and sit still, you're creating conditions where you can actually hear what your instrument sounds like, discover its range, learn its responsiveness to different touches.

"The realm you live in dearest one is an instrument playing; consciousness is the player," J explains. This isn't metaphorical language. This is literal description of how reality works. Consciousness - what you truly are - expresses through the instrument of embodied existence.

And like any instrument, it requires practice, maintenance, understanding, and skill to play well.

The Quality of Consciousness Determines the Quality of Music

Here's one of J's most direct teachings on this relationship:

"All thoughts, as do trains as you would understand, find their appropriate junction in the human body. You have a thought of worry then that thought will travel to its appropriate junction."

Every thought creates motion in your instrument. Every emotion generates vibration through your vehicle. The quality of these thoughts and emotions determines what kind of music gets produced.

Worry creates discordant vibrations that travel to specific locations in your body, creating tension, stress responses, eventually manifestation as physical symptoms if maintained long enough.

Love creates coherent vibrations that harmonize your entire system, increasing energy flow, enhancing cellular function, creating the felt sense of wellbeing.

You're not just thinking thoughts abstractly. You're playing notes on your instrument. Each thought is a finger placement on a string. Each emotion is pressure on a bow. The music that emerges - your experienced reality - directly reflects the quality of your playing.

The Body Responds to the Player

"The body's cells die and are reborn multiple times a week," J teaches. "If one is able to manually coordinate how the cells are born, one can begin to affix something that is undesirable on their physical vehicle."

This is extraordinary. Your cells are constantly regenerating, rebuilding themselves. And they're doing so based on instructions - not just genetic instructions, but energetic instructions from your consciousness.

If you consistently think thoughts of vitality and health while your cells are regenerating, you're programming them toward that pattern. If you consistently think thoughts of illness and limitation, you're programming them toward that pattern.

The instrument doesn't just receive the music you play - it reshapes itself based on what music you consistently create.

J elaborates: "The body is a mirror of thought, for let us use the word 'thought' or 'imagination' whatever you prefer, the body seeks to mirror this especially as pertaining to the sensitivity of the entity."

More sensitive people experience this more quickly and obviously. Their instruments are more responsive, more finely tuned. Changes in thought patterns show up in the body faster.

But everyone's body is mirroring their consciousness. Always. Constantly. The question is just how fast and how obviously.

Pre-Programmed Junctions

J provides fascinating detail about how the instrument was set up before you started playing it:

"Entities not only have similar junctions, they also have pre-programmed junctions. An entity tends to, as pertaining to the incarnation and the desires of the lessons, create junctions for their thought impulses to travel to, that the entity may measure how they are doing in an incarnation."

Before you incarnated, you (in cooperation with your Higher-Self) programmed certain response patterns into your instrument. These are like feedback mechanisms built into your vehicle.

If you have a tendency to develop cysts in certain areas when under stress, that's not random. That's a pre-programmed junction your consciousness set up as a measuring device. "Am I off-track? Let me check... yes, there's a cyst forming. I'm definitely not in alignment with my intended path."

This transforms how you relate to physical symptoms. They're not punishment. They're not weakness. They're information from your own pre-incarnative planning, feedback mechanisms you built into your instrument to help you stay on course.

"Let us say one thing, when it comes to the healing of an item on the body, what may be considered dearest one, is that it is not so much the healing that is pertinent, but that the lesson is grasped."

The instrument is speaking to you through symptoms. Learn the lesson, and often the symptom resolves spontaneously. Ignore the lesson and fight only the symptom, and you're missing the point of the feedback system you designed.

Playing in Tune vs. Out of Tune

Musicians talk about playing "in tune" - matching the correct frequencies. When an orchestra plays in tune, the music is harmonious, beautiful, moving. When instruments are out of tune, even skilled players create unpleasant sound.

Your body-instrument has ideal tuning. J describes it: "Happiness, joy, bliss and any emotion that is positive in nature is naturally vibrational, that which is not vibrational is that which is condensed for how can condensed matter vibrate?"

Positive emotions are your instrument in tune. They're vibrational, flowing, creating coherent patterns. Negative emotions are your instrument out of tune - condensed, stuck, creating discord.

"Happiness is the vibration of life, it is when something has high fluidity, fluidity is that which is not condensed, condensed is that which is without fluidity."

When you play your instrument in tune - living in positive emotional states, maintaining coherent thought patterns - everything flows. Energy moves. Cells regenerate optimally. Your vehicle performs at its highest capacity.

When you play out of tune - stuck in negative emotions, maintaining incoherent thought patterns - everything condenses. Energy gets stuck. Cells malfunction. Your vehicle struggles to perform basic tasks.

The Advanced Practice: Conscious Coordination

For those who truly master their instrument, J describes something remarkable:

"If one is able to manually coordinate how the cells are born, one can begin to affix something that is undesirable on their physical vehicle as to the subjective perception of what is desirable and what is not."

This is conscious direction of cellular regeneration. This is playing your instrument at a level where you're not just creating music, you're actively modifying the instrument itself while playing it.

This requires several things:

First: Heightened state of consciousness. J specifies that this work happens through the Heart Chakra or the Clairvoyant center. You need to be operating from elevated awareness, not normal waking consciousness.

Second: Clear communication with your subconscious. Your subconscious mind coordinates cellular regeneration. Learning to give it intentional direction requires building that bridge of communication.

Third: Sustained coherence. Brief moments of elevated consciousness aren't enough. You need to maintain the state long enough for actual cellular reorganization to occur.

Fourth: Knowing your instrument intimately. You need to understand where attention should be directed, what energetic patterns create what physical results, how to work with your body's natural intelligence rather than against it.

This isn't beginner-level playing. But it's available to anyone willing to practice.

The Instrument Wants to Be Played Well

Here's something beautiful that J emphasizes: your body wants this partnership. It wants to be played well. It wants to create beautiful music.

The physical vehicle isn't your enemy. It isn't trying to sabotage your spiritual development with its hunger, its sexual impulses, its preferences and biases. It's trying to participate in the experience of life according to its nature.

When you work with that nature instead of against it, everything becomes easier. When you understand that the sexual chemical mind has its own preferences and processing, you can work with that rather than just trying to suppress it with willpower.

When you understand that the body has wisdom about what it needs nutritionally, you can listen to its actual signals rather than just following external rules about what you "should" eat.

When you understand that symptoms are communication rather than problems, you can respond to what your instrument is telling you rather than just trying to silence it.

Learning to Pluck the Strings

J's metaphor is precise: "When you learn how to pluck the strings of the Father you have grasped the physics of your realm and meditation has become something that is of a scientific endeavour."

The Father - the Creator, the quantum field, the fundamental fabric of reality - is the instrument. Your consciousness is learning how to pluck its strings. The body is your direct access point, your hands-on interface with the instrument.

Every thought you think is a string being plucked. Every emotion you feel is a chord being played. Every intention you set is a melody being composed.

The more you understand this, the more precisely you can play. The more consciously you practice, the more skilled you become. The more you work with your instrument's nature rather than against it, the more beautiful the music.

The Concert is Now

You're not preparing to play someday. You're not waiting until you're skilled enough. The concert is happening right now. You're playing your instrument whether you realize it or not, whether you practice or not, whether you play consciously or randomly.

The music you're creating - the vibrations you're generating through thought and emotion - is literally shaping your reality. It's affecting your cellular regeneration. It's determining what frequencies you can absorb. It's creating your experienced life.

J isn't teaching you to play a different instrument. You have the one you have. They're teaching you to play it consciously, skillfully, with understanding of what you're working with.

Your body is a sophisticated instrument designed by infinite intelligence specifically for consciousness to express through form. It has its own wisdom. It responds to how you play it. It mirrors your thoughts and emotions. It reorganizes itself based on the quality of your awareness.

You are the player. The body is the instrument. The music is your life.

How's the concert going?
